Shipping policy

Shipping Estimates

Shipping times provided are estimates. Delays caused by customs clearance, weather, carrier issues, or force majeure events are beyond our control.

Delivery Time

Delivery dates provided are estimates and are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed upon in writing.

Supply Reservation

Coherz reserves the right to limit order quantities or suspend fulfillment in cases of raw material shortages or supply chain disruptions.

Risk Transfer

Risk of loss or damage to the products passes to you upon delivery to the carrier (e.g., FOB Origin) or upon your receipt of the goods, depending on the agreed Incoterms.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all shipments are made EXW (Incoterms® 2020) Coherz’s premises. The risk of loss or damage to the goods transfers to the Buyer upon handover to the first carrier or upon the goods being made available for collection at the designated facility.

Freight Forwarding and Delivery Arrangement

At the Buyer’s request and subject to the Buyer’s acceptance of the applicable charges, Coherz may arrange, on the Buyer’s behalf and at the Buyer’s cost, freight forwarding and delivery of the goods to the Buyer’s designated address.

Delay in Acceptance

If the Buyer fails to take delivery of goods on the agreed date, the goods will be stored at the Buyer’s sole risk and expense.

Inspection

You must inspect all shipments immediately upon receipt. Any claims for shortage or visible damage must be reported to Coherz within [Insert Number, e.g., 5] business days.

The Buyer must inspect the goods for visible defects, quantity discrepancies, and shipping damage within 5 business days of receipt. Any claims must be submitted in writing with supporting photographic evidence within this period. Failure to notify Coherz within this timeframe constitutes unconditional acceptance of the goods. Hidden defects must be reported within 60 days from the date of delivery, or within 30 days of discovery, whichever occurs first. After this period, the goods shall be deemed accepted.

Suspension of Shipments for Payment Reasons

Coherz reserves the right to suspend future deliveries if the Buyer has overdue outstanding balances.

Buyer Insolvency

Coherz may suspend deliveries or terminate the contract immediately if the Buyer becomes insolvent, files for bankruptcy, or ceases business operations.

Force Majeure

Coherz shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms if such failure is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, war, government embargoes, supply chain disruptions, or labor strikes.
